As one customer, Diane L., noted, “The service is always really friendly.” Whether you’re stepping in for a celebratory birthday cookie or just to satisfy a craving, Chip City truly feels like a community hub dedicated to deliciousness.

However, as with any popular spot, be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours or special events like National Cookie Day. The aroma of fresh cookies wafting through the air is simply irresistible, making it virtually impossible to walk by without stopping in. And let’s be real—once you’re in, it’s hard to leave without a cookie (or two!) in hand.

In addition to its array of pastries, Chip City has embraced technology with a user-friendly app that eliminates the need for long lines. As Stephanie C. happily pointed out, “Love the addition of the app and not having to wait on line anymore, super efficient.” It’s great to see how the bakery elevates the customer experience while continuing to serve up consistently delightful cookies.

Overall, Chip City delivers on every front—with its combination of inventive flavors, inviting atmosphere, and friendly service, it's a treasure in the bakery world. So whether it’s a special occasion or just a well-deserved treat, Chip City’s cookies will undoubtedly satisfy your sweet cravings. Came in for my free birthday cookie, which is nice that they give a birthday treat! So many new cookie options to ogle over. I got the Red Velvet Hot Chocolate cookie, which was a red velvet cookie with chocolate pudding filling in the middle. It was pretty good. The service is always really friendly. It's such a trap walking by here. I don't plan on getting a cookie, but once you're there and step in, it's inevitable. Prices have gone up over the years. The specialty limited edition cookies even go for $7. I guess it's the price increase everywhere, but it was nice when they used to be less than $5 for one. Still a good treat and nice cookie bakery to have in the neighborhood. I try not to go too often because it's quite an indulgence, but beware if walking by, you will get sucked in!

Chip City is one of the most consistently delicious cookie spots. The rainbow cookie will always be a top choice but since have had other specialty cookies and have never had a bad experience. Love the addition of the app and not having to wait on line anymore, super efficient. Staff is always nice but I think I would be too if I worked in a cookie shop

This was a small Chip City and it had a lot of staff working. It was extremely busy because of National Cookie Day. Even though I placed an online order, I still had to wait in line with all the other people who placed online orders. The cookies were big and tasted good but I didn't taste anything unique about the cookie. The price of the cookie was $5.50 each and got it free using the promo code. This was good opportunity to try out the cookie for free!

Ordered: 2 Crookies (~$13): Chocolate Chip & Cookies N Cream Aya's take: The croissant cookie aka Crookie has taken the world by storm and shout out to Chip City for getting ahead of the trend here in NYC. As if you ever needed a reason to have more sugar and calories in one go, the croissant cookie combo actually works. The Crookies were fresh; it's basically the typical cookie with a flaky, buttery texture added to it. It was a good try but overall, I felt that the cookies could be better incorporated in each bite of the croissant layer. Try it out if you see it in stores!

I placed my order by mobile app and walked over to pick it up. The smell of the cookies makes you want to buy them all. My order was ready and sitting there waiting for me nice and warm. The cookies tasted fresh and did not disappoint my sugar craving. A+for the staff having the order ready on time.

I thought it would be just a fad but the crookies are actually good! The croissant itself is good which I think is the key here. Try these but they are pricey at $6 and the buy 5 get 1 free deal doesn't apply for them. I'm not sure how to post a complaint though - I ordered one of everything but they got me 2 of the confetti and not the cookies and cream so I can't rank them in order of what I like.

Probaby the best cookie I have ever eaten. Better than cookie house, Insomnia, just name it and I can honestly say - Chip city is better . I walked in after dinner for dessert and they were so friendly. The young lady was so patient with me because it was my 1st time and had no clue which one I wanted . I decided on the s'mores and apple pie oatmeal cookies . They were warm , the s'mores cookie was delish and the pie oatmeal cookie literally had apple pie filling and it was so good ! Cant wait for another cheat day because those cookies will be happening again. Its a grab and go spot so there was no seating but I didn't mind, I devoured my cookies in the car .
